First Annual Halloween Basketball Pickup Tournament
"Let's Keep Playing Basketball"
When: October 30, 2020
Where: Highview Park
1945 N Dinwiddie St, Arlington, VA 22207
Time: Games will be played between 4:30 and 7:30.
Divisions: 4th, 5th, 6th, 7th and 8th. Open to both boys and girls teams.
Requested Donation: $15 per player.
Special Note: You can enter as a team or as a player. Those who sign up as a player will be assigned a team in their respective age group.
Each team will receive a Bull Dawg Halloween T-shirt. Winners will have bragging rights for a year.
Rules: All games will be played to seven or ten minutes. Holding the ball will not be allowed. (14 second shot clock will be imposed the last minute of the game to keep teams from trying to run the clock out.) Minimal intrusion by referees, whose only job is to keep everyone same and call obvious fouls and other violations. Games will be played in a tournament format. Teams are only guaranteed two games. Maximum of six players per team. Players will not be allowed to play on more than one team. Each must register and submit their roster by October 23, 2020. Everything is subject to the weather. Unless the court is wet, we will be playing.
